American actress Leslie Jones‘ nude photos were leaked on Wednesday, August 24, 2016.
The “Ghost Busters” star’s website was also hacked and has since been taken down. The hacker also posted pictures of Jones’ driver’s license and passport.
This comes one month after the “Saturday Night Live” star was trolled with racist comments on Twitter causing her to delete her account from the site.
The actress briefly quit the social platform after receiving the hurtful tweets.
She also opened up about the ordeal during an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers on July 21, 2016.
“You know, it was one of those type of things — the insults, what’s scary about the whole thing is that the insults didn’t hurt me. Unfortunately, I’m used to the insults. That’s unfortunate, but what scared me was the injustice of a gang of people jumping against you for such a sick cause,” Jones said on the show.
“And it’s so mean. Like, it’s so gross and mean and unnecessary,” she continued. “So it was just like one of those things like, OK, if I hadn’t said anything, nobody would have ever known about this. All those people still would have an account.“
Fans and fellow celebrities have also shown an outpouring of love for the actress with the hashtag #LoveForLeslieJ created amidst the nude photo leak controversy.
