Rapper Modenine Releases “Insulin” Album


Modenine drops Insulin album

Talented Hip hop rap act and lyricist Modenine has released  his much anticipated fifth album, “Insulin”, a follow-up to“Above Ground Level  released“ in 2014.

Earlier albums include E’ Pluribus Unum “One Amongst Many” -2006, “ The Paradigm Shift”  -2008, “ Da Vinci Mode”  -2010, and “  Above Ground Level “ – 2014.

The seven-time Headies lyricist on the roll winner also has collaborative albums and mixtapes to his credit.


The news of this album reportedly being the rapper’s last may not come as a surprise to many given the fact that the rapper has expressed displeasure over the state of  true Hip hop acceptance by Nigerians.

His last album “Above Ground Level” however made an attempt at appealing to the mainstream market with a feature of Mavin boss Don Jazzy in the track ‘Some more’.


The new album is a 21-track project, featuring the likes of Jeremiah Gyang, Amuta & Rockstar and Maka.

Modo as he is fondly called by industry colleagues has dropped two singles with accompanying videos – ‘No matter what’ featuring Maka and ‘Insulin’ featuring veteran DJ Jimmy Jatt to give his teeming fans a taste of what to expect on the album.
