How Wizkid-Ali Kiba Fight Almost Ruined Chris Brown Concert

New revelations now indicate that the Saturday night Mombasa Rocks concert was almost disrupted after a clash between two popular musicians ensued.

Reports indicate that Nigerian sensational artiste Wizkid and his Tanzanian counterpart Ali Kiba were engaged in a spat over who would perform before the other.

According to sources, each of the two award-winning singers claimed to be the biggest – in terms of the fan base – hence should perform before the other.

Ali Kiba is said to have insisted that he would not take to the stage before Wizkid, leading to a disagreement that reportedly delayed the arrival of American RnB singer and main performer of the night Chris Brown.

“Kiba felt he is bigger in Kenya than Wizkid hence he could not understand why he was scheduled to perform before,” NairobiNews reported.

Ali Kiba finally managed to win the contest and got to perform right before the American superstar.

More to that, the disagreement is said to have affected arrangements of the event since Brown was set to entertain the crowd by 11pm but his performance had to be pushed later into the night.

Later, Mr Kiba expressed disappointment at how the event was handled with some instruments failing while he was on stage, which led him to end his performance prematurely.

“I was surprised. I don’t know whether the microphone was disconnected for Chris Bown to be ushered in. I hope my fans understood that it was not my fault,” he stated.

The eagerly awaited Mombasa Rocks event had a fair share of drama after Loyal hit singer was accused of smashing a woman’s phone at the Moi International Airport.

However, the musician, through his Kenyan rep Thandie Ojeer, strongly refuted the claims expressing his disappointment at the predominant violent perception people had about Brown.
