Nigerians have slammed President Muhammadu Buhari and his predecessor, Goodluck Jonathan for the present hardship occasioned by economic recession plaguing one of the largest crude oil producers in Africa.
According to Greennews.ng poll which showed feedback from readers on who is to be blamed for the contraction in Africa’s largest economy, more respondents blamed President Buhari ahead of his predecessor.
Nigerian economy has contracted for two consecutive quarters, indicating economic decline owing to many factors, one of which is the slump in global crude oil prices, corruption, mismanagement of resources, waste and bureaucracies in government.
