Azibaola Roberts, the embattled cousin of former President Goodluck Jonathan, turned a ‘prayer warrior’ on Tuesday, as he was pictured with a big Bible praying fervently and singing praises as they entered the courtroom at the High court in Abuja.
It was gathered that Azibaola who was spotted with a Christian hymn book and a Bible in the company of his wife sang hymns and prayed loudly when they alighted from a bus which conveyed them to court.

The ‘ritual’ continued when they took their seats in the courtroom while waiting for the judge to arrive. The couple were seen flipping through and reading the Bible, and would intermittently sing praises.
It was widely reported that Azibaola who had been in EFCC detention since March 23, is standing trial for alleged financial fraud and diversion of $40million through his company OnePlus Holdings Nigeria Limited.
