It was a rowdy scene which would have turned violent and bloody if not for the timely intervention of the security operatives after pro-Saraki group clashed with Occupy NASS over who should occupy the National Assembly entrance.
The two groups fighting each other
While the Occupy NASS group were calling for Saraki’s resignation, the pro-Saraki group were demanding for the presidency to stop persecuting the Senate President.
Some of the posters with Senate President Bukola Saraki’s pictures were torn to shreds by the anti-Saraki protesters, as they were engaged in a struggle by the pro-Saraki group.
Luckily, security operatives were on ground to prevent an escalation of events.
