The chairman of Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Hon. Micah Jiba

The chairman of Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Hon. Micah Jiba has cried out over media attack on his person without documented facts.

The Chairman, who said he will not hesitate to legal actions against such individuals, and said they are bent on tarnishing his image as the council chairman.

Jiba who said his administration has done everything within its powers to ensure that residents of the council benefit from the dividends of democracy, added that he has provided basic infrastructures in almost all the communities in the council despite meager allocations accrued to AMAC.

“I wonder why some people will just sit down in their comfort zones and start concocting false information about people who are doing their best to impact on the lives of those they are serving. I have served as council chairman for two terms and I did whatever I could to ensure that my people benefit from my government.”

“There are only few communities in the council that will say that they do not have health centres. I have provided transformers and water boreholes in almost all the communities and I have also built markets and schools for our people to benefit. I wander why some people will just go to the media to attack me” Jiba added.
