Senior Airforce officials indicted in the ongoing probe into the alleged arms procurement scandal have been fired, reports Vanguard.
Four senior Airforce officers have so far been indicted in the probe.
The officers are currently being detained at Niger Barracks, Abuja.
The officers include Air Vice Marshal RA Ojuawo, Air Vice Marshal Mamu, Air Vice Marshal AM Adigun and a Commodore (name with-held)
The Nigerian Airforce High Command has replaced the indicted officers.
AVM Ademola Jekennu, formerly the Senior Air Staff Officer (SASO) at the Tactical Air Command, Makurdi takes over from Mamu as Chief of Administration (COA) at the Headquarters of Nigerian Air Force, Air Cdre Clement Ogbeche replaces Adigun as Chief of Accounts and Budget while Agwungwu replaces Ojuawawo as Commandant, Tactical Air Command, Makurdi.
