An Ondo state governorship aspirant of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Jamiu Afolabi Ekungba caused quite a scene as he stormed out of the venue of the party’s primaries cursing, shouting and lamenting about the outcome of the primaries.
The APC governorship aspirant who hails from Owo LGA of the state also vowed never to help any indigene of the state after seeing the way they treated him.
Ekungba stormed out of the venue following the announcement of Rotimi Akeredolu as the party’s flag bearer saying: “I am highly disappointed in the people of Ondo, they are bastards and betrayals.”
He lamented that the people of the state turned their backs on him during the primaries election after he had spent millions of naira to earn their mandate.
He further said: “They deceived me. I spent over N300million naira on reaching out to each of the delegates alone. Even before the primaries I have spent millions of naira. After collecting my money they gave me just 44votes.
“From today I will never help any Ondo State indigene, I’ll rather give out my money to the Hausa beggars on the street.”
