Ondo Election: We’re Not Endorsing Tinubu’s Candidate – APC Leaders

Chairmen of the All Progressives Congress, APC in 18 local government in Ondo state have denied media reports that they intend to support a governorship candidate handpicked by Bola Tinubu.

According to PUNCH, the party chairmen issued the denial after one of the governorship aspirants of the party, Dr. Tunji Abayomi, alleged that Tinubu summoned all the party’s leaders, including the chairmen of the party at the local government level to Lagos, and directed them to ensure that another aspirant, Dr. Segun Abraham, emerged as the candidate of the party at the primary.

The denial by the APC Chairmen read, “We wish to state emphatically that we, the local government chairmen of the APC in Ondo State, hereby dissociate ourselves from the allegation.
