The recent war, according to a Facebook user who has been monitoring the development, Edwin Afejuku, happened when one of the factions stormed the secretariat of the party in Asaba and locked up the gate with a padlock painted in red.
The ongoing war of supremacy in the rank of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Delta State, has taken a new dimension as the rival parties have been battling themselves on all fronts including attacking each other with different manners of traditional charms.
In front of the gate was assorted juju paraphernalia including a calabash containing eggs, white native chalks and red pieces of clothes and a coffin with the inscription: ‘APC: RIP’
“The gate to Delta Failed APC Secretarial at Asaba under locked with a padlock painted with red colour, in addition, a calabash containing eggs, white native chalk tied with red pieces was also at the front gate. This is as a result of the party crisis.
Delta APC dead on arrival.”
It is now left to be seen how the other faction will react to this affront.
