The Ajayi family of Isale Oba area of Igboora in Itesiwaju local government area of Oyo state has appealed to Ibrahim Idris, the inspector-general of police and other relevant security agencies to provide maximum protection to them.
Independent gathered that the appeal followed alleged threat, attacks and harassments purportedly unleashed on them by a two- man terror gang.
Yomi Ajayi, one of the elders of the family told our correspondent that the terror from members of the gang began in October 2015.
According to Ajayi, the alleged threat, attacks and intimidation was reported to police at Igboora Central Police station.
Ajayi further explained that the build-up for the family members began when one of them, identified as Joseph Ajayi, a resident of the United Kingdom entered into an undisclosed $30,000 business deal with Ajewole Ade and Earnest Owolabi.
His words: “As at the time of filling this report, two members of the family, identified as Olatubosun Ajayi and Jessy Ajayi are receiving treatment at various hospitals in our area, following the violence attack unleashed on them by unidentified members of the terror gang”.
“Ade and Owolabi allegedly had an undisclosed business deal with my brother, who cannot return to Nigeria from the UK for fear of arrest, since he was allegedly linked with homosexual activities”, the elder said.
Again, his words: “About $30,000 was involved in the business in question but mother terror gang has been violently demanding for their own share from the family members who did not know anything about the arrangement”.
The Ajayi family is therefore appealing for caution and calling on the relevant security agencies to please bring Ajewole and Owolabi for their alleged constant attacks and harassments on some members of the family in Isale Oba, who are not in the know about a business deal that was entered into in the United Kingdom.
