The University of Lagos best graduating student, Ayodele Daniel Dada who made Cumulative Gradient Point Average of 5.0 in Psychology has been engaged by Procter and Gamble.
He revealed this in an exclusive interview with our correspondent, adding that the company employs him and another first class graduate, Abiola Durojaiye of the Department of Finance, Faculty of Business Administration.
The students resumed about two months ago but in spite of the job, Dada said that he might likely travel abroad to further his academic career.
Dada who is aspiring to become a professor of Psychology told our correspondent that he had since made contact with a Professor of Psychology at Stanford University, California, US, Prof. Carol Dweck.
According to him, Dweck has secured a grant from Bill Gates and Melinda Foundation to conduct a study into the motivation of poor kids in an academic environment.
Having worked on Dweck research for his final year project, Dada stated that he would be going overseas to study more.
However, the Efon Alaaye genius has been hiding since he was announced as the best graduating student ever produced by University of Lagos.
He said, “It is a big challenge for me. Coping with it has been very challenging. I have had to stop using social media especially Facebook because friends’ requests have kept piling up every second.”
