Shocking: As Pastor Was Arrested For Stealing Colleague’s Car In Abuja

A 28-year-old man who claimed to be a pastor, has been arrested by the police in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, for allegedly stealing a Toyota Sienna car belonging to his friend who is also a pastor at the Byazhin area of Kubwa, a satellite town in the city.

The thieving pastor identified as only as Pastor Destiny, was nabbed in Nsukka, Enugu State, where he had taken the car to look for buyers.

According to Daily Trust, Pastor Destiny, a frequent visitor to the victim’s residence, took away the car keys without his friend’s knowledge and sneaked into the compound where he stole the car in the night.

The victim told the police that he wanted to use the car in the morning but could not find the keys, so he took the spare key and went to where he parked the car only to realise that it was not where he parked it in the night and he went to the police station to make a report.

“The suspect was apprehended in a prayer house in his home town in Enugu State and brought to the station with the vehicle,” Sabo said.
