5 Dead After Plane Carrying EU Officials Crashed in Malta


A Plane believed to be carrying European Union officials crashed after takeoff from Malta International Airport, killing all five people on board.

DAILY MAIL reports that the light aircraft crashed shortly after taking-off from the runway at Malta Airport in Luqa at around 5.30am on Monday.

Emergency services are on the scene and rescuers are searching the burning wreckage for any survivors.
