A man apparently displeased with his colleague who had stolen his girlfriend’s hot dog took a really bitter step in punishing him.
This is the shocking moment a man poured boiling water over his colleague’s head after he stole half of his girlfriend’s hot dog.
Kian-Wee Show, 28, launched the horrific attack on Bin Wu after he was upset his workmate had stolen his girlfriend’s half-eaten snack.
He was seen on camera picking up a bucket, filling it with hot water and pouring it over the man’s head.
Show was jailed for five-and-a-half years for the violent incident.
The two men worked at food company Turners and Growers in Whakatu on New Zealand’s South Island.
In the footage, he can be seen calmly walking up to Mr Wu before pouring it on him as steam can be seen rising from his head and neck.
Mr Wu suffered third degree burns to his head, neck and hand and isn’t expected to recover for years.
Show pleaded guilty to one charge of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
Mr Wu said: “The day before there had been a sliced sausage in the cafeteria … I had taken the last slice.
“I didn’t think anyone had had taken that seriously. Not me, none of the other workers … I don’t know what’s happening in this guy’s mind.”
