Despite avoiding relegation to the lower league, the goalkeeper insists they are going out for a win against the Naze Millionaires
Plateau United have vowed to beat Heartland FC in the week 38 of the 2016 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) campaign, declaring that the game is as important as any other match.
With the Peace Boys safe, there were insinuations that the club will give away their final match day tie with relegation haunted Heartland.
According to goalkeeper Isa Danladi, they have no reason to relax in their approach to the game.
“We are already safe despite the loss to El-Kanemi Warriors but that doesn’t mean we will take take things lightly. We are aiming for a good result in our last game which is at home to Heartland,”
“If Heartland think we don’t need the game, they must be joking because we will beat them.
“The match is very important to us because we want to end the season with a win.”
Plateau United are 12th with 48 points and are billed to confront relegation strugglers Heartland FC on Sunday at the Rwang Pam Stadium in Jos.
