The draw for the group stages of Europe’s elite club competition has just concluded in Monaco and, as always, has thrown up some intriguing draws. As well as Leicester making their bow in the competition, Spurs were appearing in the draw for the first time in six years, having last competed in the Champions League during the 2010/11 season, where they were eliminated by Real Madrid at the quarter-final stage.
