The team will then proceed to Abuja on Tuesday morning, where they are expected to be welcomed by the sports ministry and the Nigeria Football Federation.

However, not all the players who partook at the Games are returning with the team, and as already reported, skipper John Obi Mikel has already left the team and returned to London, to team up with his club, Chelsea.

Nigeria beat Honduras 3-2 to win the Bronze medal on Saturday.
