The Arsenal faithfuls have expressed their frustration at the lack of transfer activity but Arsene Wenger has secured a whopping £52 million double swoop.
The Gunners have reportedly struck a deal to sign Deportivo frontman Lucas Perez (£17m) and Valencia defender Shkodran Mustafi (£35m), with both players expecting to undergo a medical tomorrow.
After been linked with an array of potential targets it appears they’re about to welcome two of last season’s top La Liga performers, improving their squad and resolving the injury crisis in the process.
The 27-year-old Perez bagged 17 league goals while subject to interest from Arsenal scouts as well as fending off competition from both Everton and Valencia.
Meanwhile, Mustafi’s future has been under intense scrutiny with both parties going back-and-forth on a transfer fee until now.
Rejoice Arsenal fans as new recruits are on their way to the Emirates.
