Look into the eyes, not around the eyes but into the eyes! Bruno Martins Indi’s stare could turn a man to stone and soon it’ll be the Premier League strikers staring at the central defender as he looks set for a move to England.

The Porto centre back shot to fame during the 2014 World Cup for his performance and for his infamous stare in Netherlands opening game of that tournament to the back of Diego Costa’s head.

The 24 year old will have the chance to come face to face with his one time nemesis pretty soon as according to ESPN FC he’s on the verge of a loan move to Stoke City.

The Dutchman, who was linked with a move to Louis van Gaal’s Manchester United after the World Cup in Brazil, has flown to England for the move despite other teams being interested.

Martins Indi isn’t in Nuno Espirito Santo’s first team plans and Mark Hughes is clearly in the market for a centre back with his loan move for Mamadou Sakho failing due to the player not fancying it.

The centre back will move to the Bet365 Stadium on a temporary year long loan.
