With just over a week to go of the transfer window there’s no doubt that there’s a hell of a lot of work to still be done by certain clubs. And that’s no more true than of Hull City.
Hull might somehow be flying high as one of only four teams to have won both of their opening two league fixtures but fans of the club would be kidding themselves if they didn’t think transfers were still a high priority.
With injuries included the Tigers only have around 14 first team players and the bench has been filled with youngsters. So it’s no surprise to find that they’re in talks with Spurs over the signing of midfielder Ryan Mason.
The Spurs midfielder had a good start to his career two seasons ago as one of the many youngsters coming through for Mauricio Pochettino’s side and got himself a call up to an England squad at the beginning of last season.
However he failed to get much form or game time last season, somewhat due to injuries, whilst the likes of Dele Alli and Eric Dier flourished in the side.
With Victor Wanyama added this summer there seems little chance of Mason forcing his way back into the first team but he would be a valuable asset at Hull.
