The tactician has attributed the Super Eagles success to a positive mental attitudes
The German-born tactician led the Super Eagles to a 3-1 victory over Algeria in a World Cup qualifier on Saturday – his third win since he started his reign as the team’s manager in August.
He commended the players for their excellent performances in their game against the Greens, adding that such mentality is required to make it out of a difficult group.
“A positive attitude has helped us thus far, and I also want to commend the players for their discipline and dedication, and very good spirit in camp. They have been excellent,” Rohr told NFF Media
“The mental strength is also there, because if you have to survive in such a difficult group, you need very good mental strength and focus.
“We have shown in the first two matches that we have the personnel and the good spirit to go all the way.
“We must prepare very hard for Cameroon, even though that is still nine months away. The Lions are a good team and we must be at our best.”
