American sprinter, Justin Gatlin has broken Usain Bolt‘s 100m record of 9.58seconds on a Japanese TV show but sadly the race was not recorded.
The 34-year-old smashed ran 9.45 seconds at the Japanese TV show called, Kasupe!.
Gatlin’s record finish will however not be recorded as he was backed by a wind machine blasting 20mph gusts has he finished down the track.
Since returning from a four-year doping ban in 2010, Gatlin has been Bolt’ main rival and dominated the sprinting season of 2015 World Championship in Beijing.
It’s all about growth and getting better and better,” Gatlin told a news conference in Brussels when asked about how he could beat Bolt last year.
“The margin of the race is getting smaller and smaller. I just have to make sure I step my game up.”
