Keshi’s Corpse Deposited in Benin Mortuary


The remains of former Super Eagles coach and player Stephen Keshi has been deposited in a privete mortuary, Faith Mediplex in Benin.

Chairman, Edo State Football Association (EFA), Frank Ilaboya, confirmed this on Wednesday.

Ilaboya, quotes Keshi’s faimily member, Ricky Aburimen, as saying the Eagle’s former coach as having only complained of a leg ailment while holidaying at his Aipport road home in Benin before he passed away.

He said that Keshi had died on the way to the hospital at about 3 am. The ex- international lost his wife , Nkem Kate Keshi only last December. They had been married for 33 years. She died after a prolonged battle with cancer.
