RIO Olympics: Japanese Doctor Rewards Nigerian Dream Team With $390,000

Katsuya Takasu, a Japanese doctor, who pledged cash rewards to Nigeria’s Dream Team VI has handed cheques to the team as well as the coach, Samson Siasia has redeemed his pledge.

The Dream Team beat Honduras 3-2 on Saturday evening to win Nigeria’s first medal at the Rio 2016 Olympics. He pledged a total of $390,000 to the team as well as the team coach, Samson Siasia.
