Arsenal winger Serge Gnabry is currently the top scorer in the men’s football at the Rio Olympics after he scored twice in Germany’s 10-0 thrashing of Fiji.
The 21-year-old jet-heeled midfielder now has five goals in the competition so far following his brace against the Oceania side on Wednesday – with the pick of his strikes this delicious free-kick:
Gnabry’s three previous goals came in Germany’s 3-3 draw with South Korea and the 2-2 draw with Mexico, and he’ll be hoping Arsene Wenger has been watching events in Brazil closely.
Gnabry made his debut for the Gunners in 2012 but has struggled to establish himself at the Emirates and spent the majority of last season on loan at West Brom – where he also failed to get into the first-team.
But there’s no doubt that if he keeps up his good form and keeps scoring goals like the one above, he’ll definitely get a chance at a top-flight club somewhere.
