World Cup Trophy Artist, Silvio Gazzaniga Dies At Age 95


Italian stone carver, Silvio Gazzaniga who composed and made the present adaptation of the FIFA World Cup trophy has kicked the bucket at 95 years old. Silvio composed the trophy in 1971. He passed away in his mull over Monday October 31 taking after arrangement of minor nourishment.

A discharged articulation from his child, Giorgio, declared his dad’s destruction. ‘He simply didn’t get up toward the beginning of today. It was a tranquil passing.’
