Arsenal Shocks PSG Over Surprise Alexis Sanchez Move!!

Ligue 1 side, PSG remains interested in signing the Chilean, along with the likes of Chelsea and Juventus, but the Gunners have no intention of selling.
Alexis Sanchez
Arsenal remain convinced that they will be able to retain Alexis Sanchez and have informed PSG that he will not be sold according to Goal.
The Ligue 1 club remain interested in signing the Chile international, with the likes of Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Juventus also keen on securing the 28-year-old’s services.
Manchester City are another that have been strongly linked, and Goal understands Pep Guardiola’s side are convinced that they can lure the former Barcelona star to the Etihad Stadium.
Alexis has enjoyed an impressive 2016-17 campaign with the Gunners and was the only player in the Premier League to reach double figures for both goals (24) and assists (10) over the length of the season. There are still doubts over his long-term future at the Emirates Stadium, however, with the forward having less than 12 months remaining on his current contract.
Arsene Wenger has insisted publicly that Alexis, and Mesut Ozil – whose contract also expires in 2018 – will not be sold, telling beIN SPORTS that he will not “weaken the club” by letting them go.
And a source from within the Gunners camp has reiterated that message, telling Goal that PSG have been left “convinced” that Alexis will not be allowed to leave after they had expressed an interest. Wenger recently signed his own contract extension at Emirates Stadium, keeping him with the north Londoners until at least 2019, despite a disappointing league campaign that saw the club finish fifth in the table.
And while the Frenchman has promised new additions to the squad in an attempt to start the 2017-18 campaign strongly, the 67-year-old warned there would only be a maximum of “two or three” signings.
Yaya Sanogo
In other news, Yaya Sanogo has confirmed he is leaving Arsenal when his contract at the Emirates Stadium expires in the summer.
The French striker joined the club from Auxerre four years ago but failed to make an impact, playing just 20 competitive games and scoring a single goal. Sanogo went out on loan four times during his time with the Gunners, but says he does not blame Arsene Wenger for not playing him.
“The adventure ends,” he told L’Equipe.
“I maybe did not always do what was necessary to impose myself.
“But Wenger is a great manager and he taught me a lot.”
The 24-year-old also rued the injuries that he felt cost him the chance to shine, including a calf injury which meant he was sidelined for seven months.
“There is this frustration about not knowing what the source of my pain was,” he continued
“I came back in January, with a fitness trainer, and I was able to play again for Arsenal’s reserves.
“It was very hard when I was injured. You feel so mentally alone.”
However, Sanogo still remembers his better times at Arsenal – including a famous four-goal haul in pre-season, recalling: “There were moments where I was good.
“I remember the summer of 2014 when, during the Emirates Cup, I scored a quadruple against Benfica.”
